Sudjelovali smo na projektnom sastanku za pilot i replikacijska područja DigiMedFor projekta

Modelna šuma Istra je kao projektni patner sudjelovala na jednodnevnom sastanku EU HORIZON projekta DigiMedFor – Transforming Mediterranean Forestry through Digital Innovation, koji je održan 12. prosinca 2025. godine u Napulju, Italija.

Sastanak je okupio projektne partnere, voditelje radnih paketa te koordinatore pilot i replikacijskih područja, među kojima i Modelnu šumu Istra u ulozi replikacijskog područja.

Festival šuma i šumskih plodova održan u zimskom ruhu

U organizaciji Modelne šume Istra i Općine Lanišće održana je 23. studenoga 2025. godine četvrta edicija Festivala šuma i šumskih plodova koji je slikovito mjesto Brest pod Žbevnicom pretvorio u središte šumske kreativnosti, znanja i zajedništva.

As a result of the cooperation between the Model Forest Istria and FSC International (Adria Balkan office),

- The diversity of forests and trees
- The magnificent benefits of forests
- Forest fruits and resources
- Let's save our forests!

"Knowledge Boxes" offer us content about forests in a very interactive way; through practice, research, the Did You Know? section, through rich media content and additional sources.

From forest fruits to rural heritage: A festival that combined nature and tradition

The popular third edition of the Festival of the Forest and Forest Products took place on Sunday, November 17th in the Model Forest Istria area. Jointly organized by the Model Forest Istria and the Municipality of Lanišće, with funding from the Secretariat of the Mediterranean Model Forest Network, the festival was held in the remote mountain village of Brest, below Mount Žbevnica in Ćićarija.

Be wise, Be innovative, Be brave, BE LAURUS is the slogan of the new Laurus platform.

Laurus Network is a new dedicated initiative designed to support European associations of forest owners by offering innovation and training for forest owners and technical staff. The network is a space for cooperation and exchange of knowledge and a place where forest owners can find answers to questions such as:
