Company specialised in preservation, packaging and sales of truffles. It was founded in 1992.
In June 2008, the new factory for the processing and preservation of truffles was opened in Plovania (near Buje), which is also the head quarter of the company ZIGANTE TARTUFI d.o.o., first company in Croatia specialised for processing and sale of truffles. It is a highly quality production with sophisticated technology and carefully selected products subjected to rigorous inspection.
On the market there are fresh and treated autumn white truffle (Tuber magnatum Pico) and black summer truffle (Tuber aestivum Vitt) deriving from the wooded parts of the Istrian Region.
Favourable climate and special soil composition contribute to the development of specimens, highly appreciated for their smell and taste. All the products are under warranty of the registration mark ZIGANTE TARTUFI d.o.o.
Our stores are available to offer to the clients our products and there is also a wide range of other products of local gastronomy. Our restaurant in Livade, specialised for truffles recipes is the culmination of our entrepreneurial activities.
