Description: 

It grows up to 25 m tall, and up to 90 cm in diameter. The aged bark is vertically fissured. The shoots are edged and bare. Leaflets turn into strong thorns, 2 cm long, mostly straight, widen on the base and wooden. They grow individually on every side of the bud. A leaf consists of 9 to 25 elliptic 3-5 cm long slightly downy leaves. Flowers are white and fragrant, and they grow in 20 cm long racemes. It flowers in May, after it grows leaves. The fruit is a legume, 10 cm long and bare, with 4 - 10 seeds. Seed coats are oval. Optimal maturity is reached at the age of 30.

Usage:
Extremely melliferous plant. Acacia honey helps with insomnia, it soothes the nervous system and relieves accumulated stress. All acacia parts are poisonous apart from the flowers.
