Extra virgin olive oil Ipša – the olive type Istarska bjelica has a gold-green colour, and an odour of apples, olives, grass, taste like radish, tomatoes, artichoke, almond, has a moderate bitterness and spice. It goes well and accentuates red meat dishes, older cheeses, tomato or bean salads, it completes chocolate desserts.
The oil is packed in 0,5 l and 0,25 l bottles, and except from the producer, it can be purchased in Split (Uje Split), Zagreb (Vinoteka Vivat fina vina, Vinoteka Svijet vina and R.B. d.o.o.), and in Rovinj (Cicibela).
